A squared raglan bodice in a slipped stitch and garter rib eases out into an easy, loose stockinette skirt.

Meant as an over layer for busy little bodies, the sock yarn makes it light and wearable for most of the year. This is a loose fitting garment, intended to be worn atop other clothing and for as long as it fits the wearer as they grow (and don’t little people grow!).

As my child is tall and was the inspiration for this dress, it naturally follows her proportions; feel free to shorten as needed.

Sunshine Yarns Classic Sock 100% merino, 370yd / 338mtr, 100g.

Please note the 3mm needle is used only for the neck set up to keep it just a smidge tidier. If you haven’t got a 3mm in your needle set, feel free to use a 3.25mm for the entirety of the pattern.
