Using two colors of Iron Horse Farm sport weight superwash merino/cashmere, this cowl is knit in long strip with a button closure. It can be made as a single loop or double loop (single loop shown in photo). The stitch pattern has wonderful texture and is easily memorized. The inspiration for the pattern name is this project was finished just as our daughter (my model) found out she got into the college of her choice…both she and the cowl are Ready For College!

CC 1 skein Iron Horse Farm Sport 80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon (255yd/4oz) in Slate Blue or approximately 60 (120) yards of sport weight yarn

US #5/3.75mm needles
