In my search for 100% plastic-free socks….I present you with Rebel Girl!

This is a pattern for a pair of over the calf to knee-high length socks. They are worked in the round from the cuff to toe and use the stranded colourwork technique. One strand of Palette is held together with One strand of Aloft to make colours A & B. The added strength of mohair helps these socks last longer, with no mending, than wool alone.

You may change sizes by changing needle sizes, yarn amounts should work for most size increases.
Also included are instructions for shorter socks.

2.25mm (us no 1) DPNs 6in/15cm; set of 5
2.75mm (us no 2) DPNs 6in/15cm; set of 5
gauge:
32 sts x 32 rows = 4in/10cm on larger needles and over stranded stockinette with 1 strand of Palette held together with Aloft for colour A and 1 strand of Palette for colour B
Some knitters work stranded and single-colour stockinette at different gauges. Change needles, as needed, to keep gauge the same throughout.
