Restoration Cowl & Capelet
This stitch pattern was inspired by those white & black basket weave floor tiles that I love so much. Conceived in Victorian times, and quite popular into the 40’s, they’ve been removed, remodeled, and frequently re-instated.
A mix of knit and purl rectangles surround large squared eyelets. The pattern is not complicated, and far from dull to knit.
