I love the geometric retro feel of this pattern - hence the name! This is a robust bag designed for everyday use. It has reinforcement in the base, the sides and the short handles, which means it stands on its own. It has a zip closure, with extra optional poppers and instructions are included for adding a lining.

The pattern is 15 pages long and includes written instructions, photo tutorials and charts and the mosaic technique is fully explained - a great pattern to try out mosaic crochet !!

Yarn:
I used Lion Brand cotton 24/7 and a 3.5mm (US E4, UK9) size crochet hook to give a tight finish.
ANY DK OR WORSTED WEIGHT NON-STRETCHY YARN (E.G. COTTON) CAN BE USED

The bag is approximately 25cm (10 in) wide at the base and 20cm (8in) wide at the top. The height is 17cm (6¾ in) to the bottom of the handle section. The base is a rectangle shape and is 6cm (2½ in) wide.
