Rhinebeck Stroll
Festival season is in the air! It’s almost time for cold weather, fiber festivals, hot drinks, and close knit friends!! This hat was inspired by the most wonderful time of the year…. Rhinebeck!
Details :
(Smaller needle) Brim: US size 4 / 3.5mm 16” / 40 cm circular needles to be worked in the round.
(Larger needle) Body of the hat: US size 6 / 4.0 mm 16” / 40 cm circular needle to be worked in the round and 4 DPN’s to close the top of the hat.
(Or needles to obtain gauge)
Gauge: 24 sts and 32 rows over 4” in chart, knit in the rnd on larger needles.
Sizes:
Adult size small/medium (22” circ. Head)
Yarn:
Dragon Hoard Yarn Storyteller Worsted: 200 yards
(color way : Ritual)
Notions :
1 stitch marker to mark the BOR; 7 unique stitch markers to mark the chart (not required); scissors; tapestry needle to weave in ends.
Notes :
This hat is knit bottom up, starting with the brim. You knit a twisted rib for a few inches, then jump straight into the chart for the body of the hat. The brim should have some negative ease to it, but the hat should fit with a bit of a slouch. Match with a pom pom for some added fun!
