DESCRIPTION
A top-down knit, where the collar is knit at the same time? You know it. This raglan style cardigan is sleek, simple and has length for the gods. With a garter stitch detail on the sleeves and a long split hem, the Ridgeline Duster is perfect for crunching leaves while on a walk in the fall. Paired with a super light-weight, chainette constructed/blown yarn, it feels light as a feather, but is cozy to snuggle up in.
This pattern has 0-3”/0-8cm of positive ease designed in. The best way to ensure it fits as modeled is to measure your bust and then make the size according to it on page 9. If you are in between sizes, I would suggest going up a size. This cardigan is particularly unique since the collar is made first and used as a base for the raglan yoke. By making it this way, you can do the entire piece in one go without having to finish the sweater, and then pick up stitches to knit the collar at the end.
Knit top down, flat, and seamlessly, this pattern is written in 9 sizes – XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL). It is suggested that you highlight your size, so you know which stitch count to follow. The model pictured is wearing the size M and is 5’7”, 146 pounds, and has a bust of 36.5” in circumference, for reference
How to choose your size: Find your bust measurements below. and knit the size according to it.
Knit top-down with the collar at the same time, flat, sleeves are knit in the round.
