“Rini” is a Japanese girl’s name meaning “little bunny”. Rini is girly and sweet, she sits independently but still enjoys lots of cuddles!

Difficulty: Intermediate, US terminology
Materials:
 2.5m hook/C-2 (US)
 4ply yarn/fingering
 Less than 50g yarn in MAIN and PASTEL colours
 BLACK 4ply yarn or embroidery thread
 Scissors
 Tapestry needle
 Polyester toy stuffing
 Stitch marker

Abbreviations:
 ch = chain
 MR = magic ring
 sc = single crochet
 hdc = half double crochet
 inc = single crochet increase (2 sc in one stitch)
 dec = decrease (sc 2 together)
 sl st = slip stitch
 BLO = back loops only
 FLO = front loops only
 (..) = repeat the space in brackets the given number of times
.. = total number of stitches
Notes:
 A yarn with no stretch is best for amigurumi, I ordinarily use cotton or cotton blend.
 Amigurumi is usually stitched in the round (unless it says otherwise).
 For this pattern, the following yarns were used:
o MAIN = Scheepjes Cotton 8 Colour “502 White”
o PASTEL = Scheepjes Cotton 8 Colour “529 Violet”
 Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you want the stitches tight.
 The yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of the finished item. My Rini the Rabbit is approximately 28 cm tall (11 inches).
 I have embroidered the eyes for this pattern but you may choose to use safety eyes. Please ensure that there are no loose fittings.
