Rododendro Ferrugineo (Alpen Rose)” is part of the new collection of patterns inspired by the “Monti Pallidi (Pale Mountains)”, a chain of mountains in the Italian Dolomites.
The Rhododendron Ferrugineum (Alpen Rose) is a flower that grows in the foothills of the Dolomites.
Legend holds that the origins of the flower date far back into time when a mother, on her way to ask for the hand of a lovely princess for her son, cut her delicate feet on the long, tortuous path and her blood, coloring some simple white flowers red. Since then, this color recalls the sacrifice that mothers make for their children.

Rododendro Ferrugineo (Alpen Rose)” is an elegant, asymmetric stole perfect for spring but also for cool summer evenings.
It has a simple oblique border and a lace stitch that is very easy to memorize.
