Roe Scarf
Roe is the perfect fall/winter scarf. It is so squishy and warm yet light to wear. It drapes perfectly around the neck while hanging down the body to add extra warmth. Roe is worked point to point with DK yarns held double; this makes it work up very quickly. Have fun choosing 2 different color yarns to marl with!
Pattern Notes:
After casting on, you increase to create the triangle/ width of scarf. Slipped stitch ridges are created as the width of triangle grows. A special technique is used to keep the main color yarn dominant in ridge. Once width of scarf is achieved, Roe is worked back and forth in garter stitch with slipped stitch ridges until desired length. Then you begin decreases to form the triangle end of scarf. Fringe is added after blocking.
