The Romantics pullover is a modern-day ski sweater for those who love love. The yoke features twisted stitch hearts sandwiched between a lace and twisted stitch pattern motif. The body is slightly cropped and tapers in at the hips in an ode to the fit of vintage ski sweaters. Knit up in The Scottish Yarn Festival’s DK yarn, a lovely wool blend base available in a variety of pretty shades, the Romantics Pullover would be the perfect design to wear on the slopes or snuggled by a fire with your significant other in the lodge!

Needles:
• Size 5 (3.75 mm) 16-40” / 40-101.5 cm
circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge, and additional needle of the same size for your preferred method of small circumference knitting (9”/ 23 cm circular, 2-circulars, DPNs or Magic Loop) for the sleeves

Gauge:
• 20 sts and 26 rows over 4” / 10 cm in stockinette st worked in the round and blocked

Construction:
The Romantics Pullover is knit in the round, seamlessly, from the top down. The design has German short row shaping at the back of the neck. Increases are worked throughout the charted yoke. Sleeve sts are worked in the round after completing the body.
