It’s a seamless cardigan knitted with circular needles and short rows, worked sideways. The armholes are created by casting off some stitches and by casting them on again on the following row.

I always suggest to try on the work in progress, to check size, ease, and wearability. By doing this, you can knit the perfect fit for your body shapes. In fact, everybody is different and sometimes only some small changes can make the difference, as making the cardigan longer or wider.
