Designed in collaboration with The Royal Bee Yarn Company and No Panic Knitting, The Royal Bee Color Blocks is a colorful triangular shawl which features eight wider blocks of colors, each separated by a narrower band of textured stitches in a neutral color. The Color Blocks Shawl is knit using one full-sized skein of fingering weight yarn as the main color and 8 mini skeins as the contrasting colors. You choose the order in which you knit the colors. This advanced beginner project uses knit and purl stitches and simple increases. You will need a selection of yarn from The Royal Bee Yarn Company’s 2024 Advent, Hanukkah, or Holiday Kits, or about 400 yards of fingering weight yarn in one main color, and 8 mini-hanks (90 yards/20 grams of each color) of contrasting colors.
