Rumba Grande was designed as a show piece for the 2014 Cascade Yarns/Knit & Stitch cruise to the Bahamas, where it made its debut.

The yardages were retooled for worsted weight (triple stranded) could be used to make the bag more versatile. The numbers are higher, because there were additional rows added to ensure the size would be consistent with the one knitted from super bulky.

It is a large bag, that makes use of the sculptural qualities of its ruffles to stand out from the crowd.
