Saeth
Saeth is a triangular shawl composed of textured sections and finished with a lace border. Saeth means “arrow”, referencing the many different arrow and chevron motifs that are incorporated into the design. The finished product is cosy enough to act as a blanket scarf in the winter yet light enough to be used as a shawl on cool summer evenings. The shawl is knit flat and works up quickly in bulky weight yarn. The pattern is simple enough for a semi-beginner but varied enough to keep more advanced knitters happy! The chevron and lace sections can be worked from either written instructions or charts.
