Sail! is a slouchy hat with a cable band, worked all in a
nice warm chunky wool. Using size 10 needles, Sail! knits
up quickly and you will be wearing it in no time!

The hat starts with the cable band, which is worked flat
and then joined together to make the brim. Stitches are
then picked up for the main body of the hat, which is
worked in the round.

Chunky, approximately 160 yards (146 meters)
Sample shown was knit using Ella Rae Superwash Chunky.
Finished sample weighs in at 128 grams which equals
approximately 156 yards in the Ella Rae Superwash Chunky.

Needles:
US 10 (6mm), or size needed to obtain gauge

Gauge:
16 sts & 20 rows in 4x4in square (10cm square)
stocking stitch

Size:
To fit head circumference 21-23 inches (53-58 cm). Actual
circumference, approximately 21 inches (53cm). Pattern
includes up to 2 inches (5 cm) of negative ease). The
hat can be adjusted for a custom fit by using the sizing
tips provided in the pattern.
