Novita’s first collaboration with Rolf Ekroth was presented at Copenhagen Fashion Week in January 2024. The Dear Night collection interpreted the retro spirit of Finnish sports history, combining traditional knitwear patterns with the design world of the collection.

The Samppa cardigan is knitted in sections, front and back separately with Novita 7 Brothers yarn. The sleeves are knitted sideways and for the cuff ribbing the stitches are picked up from the edge of the sleeve piece. The version seen on the catwalks has a medallion row on the chest, but the knit with the cable pattern looks also good without it.
