This Santa Claus can be used as a Christmas decoration for your home (if you’ll fill body with stuffing), or it can be used as a Christmas gift bag (if you’ll fill Santa Claus’ body with gifts).

PATTERN LANGUAGES: English (in US terms), Danish, Dutch, French and German.

CROCHET LEVEL: Easy / Intermediate
This pattern is easy to follow and contains lots of photos illustrating the process to help you. However you should know basic crochet terms:

• crocheting in rounds
• chain, slip, single crochet stitches
• increasing and decreasing

MEASUREMENTS: 13.4 inches (34 cm), when done with sport weight yarn and size 4/E crochet hook (3.5 mm). The size of Santa Claus may vary depending on the size of hook and yarn you use.

MATERIALS & TOOLS:

• I used sport weight yarn (100g - 330m/3.53Oz. - 361yds),
• Size 4/E (3.5mm) crochet hook (for body parts)
• Size C (2.5-2.75 mm) crochet hook (for hair and beard)
• Sewing needle,
• Polyester stuffing
