Scalloped Edge Tee
Description: Bottom-up silk tee with a beautiful scalloped bottom worked in different colors. Worked seamlessly from the bottom up, then separated for front and back, which are finished separately and finally shoulders of front and back are connected back together via 3 needle bind off method; lastly, you will pick up sts for the neckband from the neck opening and after a few rounds of 1x1 rib – the tee is done! The tee is designed with positive ease that is about 8”/20cm for smaller sizes and 4”/10cm for larger sizes. See schematic for exact measurements. This is an easy and fun knit with many color possibilities! Shown in size M.

Needles: US 1 (2.25mm) circular needles 24”/61cm long
Gauge: 22sts x 24rounds = 4”/10cm in st st working in round; Each scallop is 3.5” / 9cm wide and 2.5”/ 6.5cm high.
Yarn: Malabrigo Yarn Mora; Fingering weight; 100% Silk; 225 yards / 50 grams.
You will need 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins of MC and 1 skein of each CC1 and CC2. If you are using some of existing stash yarn, you will need approx. 95 (100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 170) yds / 87 (92, 100, 110, 120, 128, 137, 146, 155) m of each CC.
Notions: sts markers, spare yarn or sts holder, extra needles for the 3 needle bind off.
