I originally designed this scarf for my knitting group to make for The Special Olympics. It is an easy and fast scarf to make that incorporates two colors without doing stripes. I have also used it for The Red Scarf Project charity. One positive about the design is that there is no finishing and the sides lie (relatively) flat due to the addition of the Drop Stitch Lace and Crochet Braid. You don’t even have to do any weaving in of ends as the yarn ends can be added to the fringe. Both sides of the scarf have their own individual pattern and can be used as the public side.

Additional materials needed:
additional yarn (small amount) for Crochet Braid
latch tool
weights
row counter
crochet hook for fringe (optional)
