Sea of trees hat design has a bold fair isle motif on a background of block stripes. Worked in rows from the bottom up, with a generous 2 x 2 rib.

The tree motif is repeated around the main section of hat using a single colour, and the background fades from a dark blue to a bright turquoise.

The back seam is worked using mattress, and the top opening gathered together. Can be finished off with a contrast pom pom.
