Seamless Slippers
Many years ago my grandmother gave me a pair of knit slippers for Christmas. These were store-bought slippers made from a bright red acrylic. I loved them so much that I actually wore holes in them. I came across them in a drawer last year and realized that I now had the skills to knit my own pair using any yarn I liked. Whip these up in a sturdy acrylic or superwash wool/nylon blend for longevity while padding around the house, or something soft and luscious to wear curled up on the couch with your knitting. These slippers, sized for women and men, knit up fast and make great last-minute gifts. The flowers add a feminine touch, but are easily omitted for a plainer look.
The yardage and needles given are for the slipper, the flowers use 40 yards of the fingering weight yarn and smaller needles.
