Seaside
I can’t wait to see this shawl on your needles. Let’s celebrate the release and get 15% off this pattern until Sunday, July 6 2025 with code SANDYTOES15!
Seaside Shawl is a light, breezy shawl that carries the quiet rhythm of the shore.
Knit tip to tip as a gentle triangle, it begins and ends with just a few stitches, no special cast-ons or bind-offs needed. Stitches increase evenly along one side for the first half, then decrease to mirror the shape for the second.
The fabric plays with a flowing mix of stockinette, reverse stockinette, airy yarn overs, and simple three-stitch cables that dance across the surface like waves on water.
The pattern is fully charted and the English version also includes corresponding written instructions, so you can work whichever way you prefer.
Using about 350–400 m (383–438 yds) of fingering weight yarn, Seaside Shawl is a wonderful one-skein project and perfect for using that beautiful skein you’ve been saving for something special.
The pattern is available in English, Swedish, and German.
I’d love to see your version — share it with #SeasideShawl and tag me @thedrizzelofhoney on Instagram so I can admire your beautiful work!
