Seaweed Stockings
Worked two at a time, toe up on one circular needle these stockings are a breeze to knit and pack a punch. The inspiration for both the name and lace shapes came from a Pacific coast kelp bed which I found myself trapped in as a teenager. For kits PM me at wmdress@sbcglobal.net
Supplies
Yarn: Yarn Fairy Deluxe Sock, merino superwash, 822 yards/150 grams, sample in light Poison Frog colorway OR 2 skeins of any of our other sock yarns
Needles: US size 0/2.00mm and 1/2.25mm-32 inch circular
Crochet Hook: US size 16/.60mm for placement method of beading
Beads: Size 6/0, 40 grams, rainbow blue matte
Notions: Beadalon elastic thread 2 yards, optional
silk ribbon dyed to match 3 yards, optional
Gauge: 30 stitches, 44 rows over 4 inches on size 0 in stockinette
Fae Level: Intermediate/Advanced knitter must be able to resize, work from multiple charts, lace, cables, placement method of beading
Size 7/8 Work on 60 stitches (work pattern)
Size 9/10 Work on 68 stitches
Size 11/12 Work on 72 stitches
