This blanket is wonderful in its simplicity. Clean lines and a simple knit-purl combination make this blanket one of our favorite gifts to give. It’s different enough to set itself apart from other box pattern blankets. Beginners and advance knitters alike will enjoy this creation. For a twist, use a contrast color for the border and work the border using intarsia.

NOTE: This pattern has two versions. One uses a chunky weight yarn and gets 3.5 sts to 1” on a US #10. The other uses an aran weight yarn and gets 4.5 sts to 1” on a US #9. Both versions are included in this pattern.
