Sepperdin Blanket
This narrow blanket is perfect for a cot or pram or for around the shoulders to keep you warm when feeding baby or just when cuddling. And is great to keep when baby has grown up.
The chevron stitch is one of my favourites – I love how this simple two-row pattern, combined with stripes, creates such a striking zigzag effect.
It captures everything I love about knitting: simple stitch. Simple stripe. Simply beautiful.
I’ve used this stitch for years because I love it so much – you just can’t beat a classic!
CONSTRUCTION
Knitted flat in one piece from the bottom up.
TECHNIQUES USED
Cast on, knit, simple striping, simple lace, cast off.
