This crochet pattern is for a Shmoo. Shmoo began as a character from the cartoon, L’il Abner. Later, Hanna-Barbera used Shmoo in the Flintstones, when Fred kept Shmoo as his helper while he worked on the police force. This crochet pattern is perfect for fans of old classic cartoons or for those interested in cartoon history.

Materials
• 50 grams worsted weight yarn in White
• Scrap amounts DK weight yarn in Black, White
• 2 x small black buttons ONLY if piece is being made for people over 3 years of age
• Black thread
• Size 4.00 mm G hook
• Size 3.00 mm D hook
• Tapestry needle
• Fiber Fill
• Stitch marker

Notes
• Shmoo is worked in continuous rounds from the bottom up.
• Shmoo’s Eyes and Feet are worked separately and sewn on.
• Shmoo is approximately 5.5 inches tall.
