Silver Links
Ponchos are such a great layer when the chill sets in. They are perfect for the outdoors as well as indoors to keep your body warm and toasty.
’Silver Links’ is the perfect thing to throw on when you are feeling cold.
It is knitted in alpaca/merino mix yarn in simple stockinette stitch with lovely colour work added to spice things up.
The worsted weight and large needles assure that the knitting moves fast. The yarn choices are pretty much endless as it can be made in a variety of fibers for as long as the gauge is achieved.
’Silver Links’ is knit top down and in the round with a touch of short row shaping added to the neckline. It starts with loose turtleneck, then the yoke with colour work and a couple more increase rounds to give it an A-line shape.
The pattern is suited for advanced beginners who would like to learn short row technique and stranded colour work. The pattern is written and colour work is charted.
