The Simple Striped hoodie is a completely seamless, top-down classic - nevermind that it is also a supremely handy item for chilly days and cooler nights. Thick stripes, thin stripes, two colors or ten - this is a project to find your color bliss!

If you are new to striping - this is a great place to start. You will learn how to add colors, change colors, stripe in the round and how to carry your stripes. There are video tutorials on my youtube channel knitable to help you find striping success. Once you get started I dare you to stop!

Stripes are a perfect opportunity for a stash dive. All you need is 2 colors (or more) of worsted weight yarn that are happy next to each other.

135g - 255g worsted weight wool (superwash is recommended for ease of care)
A US size 6 circular needle with a 32” - 40” cable for knitting in the round (or size needed to obtain gauge)
A tapestry needle for weaving in ends
6 buttons

21 sts and 27 rows over 4”/10cm of stockinette stitch

Baby/child: 3-6m (6-12m: 12-24m, 3y: 4y)
