This knitted object is the start of a new group of works for me. In my artistic practice I work as a sculptor, and I wanted to bring it to my knitwear design. I have also been using brass fixtures and closures in the cloaks and capes I have been sewing, and they work quite brilliantly with knits don’t you think!?
You can really use any sort of fastener you’d like- but personally I like the brass!

Yarn: Ella Rae Mega (250g- 137yds/125m per skein) Color #306
530g total (2.2 skeins)
Needles: 10mm 24” or longer circular needle
Notions: Darning needle, 3/4” brass scissor snap, 1 1/2” brass ring
Gauge: 8 sts/10 rows in Stockinette Stitch
