´Snow Ripples´ is an asymmetric triangle, knit from the top right corner.
It is shaped with a centered double decrease along the ‘spine’ and first symmetric increases at both ends of the row until you reach the maximum depth, and after that decreases at the left edge, while continuing increases at the right edge.

The finished and blocked shawl is 180cm/70” wide by 80cm/32” deep.

YARN: (light) fingering (~400-500 m/440-550 yds per 100 gr/3.5 oz) in 2 colors:

• Main color (MC): ~600 m/660 yds or 150 gr/5.3 oz. Best to choose solid, tonal, lightly variegated or lightly speckled;
• Contrast color (CC): ~200 m/220 yds or 50 gr/1.8 oz. Choose a solid with high contrast to the MC;
• The sample was knit out of Glafira’s Yarn Feodosiia (100% Superfine Lambswool; 230 m/250 yds per 50 gr/1.8 oz), colors 022 (MC) & 066 (CC). You can find it in 28 colors Glafira’s Yarn

NEEDLES: 3.25 mm/US 3 (or size to obtain gauge) circular needles on 60-80 cm/24-32” cable.
+ 4 mm/US 6 for loose classic cast-on and bind-off
NOTIONS: stitch markers (optional), tapestry needle & scissors.

GAUGE: 24 sts by 21 ridges (42 rows) per 1010 cm/44” square in garter stitch after blocking.
