Of course, inspiration for this pattern / hat - my little girl:) But I was also looking to make a flower that is not Crochet - so this pattern is for everyone who wants to make a Hat with Flower but doesn’t crochet:)

FINISHED SIZES:
Newborn 0-3 months (Baby 3-12 months, Toddler, Child, Woman, Man)
12 (14, 16, 18, 20, 22) inches in circumference
5, (6, 7, 7 ¾ , 8 ¼, 9) inches high

MATERIALS
• Any Light yarn (number 3) =DK, Light Worsted, 8-ply - but you can use any yarn of same number/type, otherwise you should adjust either your tension/gauge or needle size
• Amount of yarn:
• Newborn 2oz (3, 3, 4, 4, 5)
• Size 3 (3.25 mm) US 16’’ circular needle or size needed to obtain below gauge;
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

GAUGE: In pattern – 5 stitches x 8 rows = 1x1 inches

STITCHES / TECHNIQUES USED & ABBREVIATIONS:
St(s): stitch(es)
CO: cast on
k: knit
p: purl
RS: right side;
WS: wrong side
K2tog: knit 2 together;
P2tog: purl 2 together;
Sl1: slip 1 stitch without knitting/purpling it;

METHOD:
Hat is worked flat, not in the round. Flower is worked flat as well – 3 flower tiers are worked separately, then sewn together and then onto the hat.
