DESCRIPTION
The Sorrento Shawl Crochet Pattern combines texture and color for a cozy wrap. This warm rectangle shawl can include fringe, pockets or neither.
The shawl is worked on the long edge with alternating sections of textured stitches. I chose two colors for the striping, but of course, more colors or a solid would be lovely.
The crochet pattern for this shawl below includes photos for each row or section. For even more support all the stitches have tutorial links as well.

• MATERIALS
8 balls (100g/3.5oz) each of Paintbox Simply Chunky Yarn, this yarn is labeled as #5 chunky weight yarn, but it’s thinner than other #5 yarns, and is more similar to Red Heart With Love a #4 worsted weight yarn. So you can use either a #4 or #5 yarn for this shawl.
Pictured in Vanilla Cream (MC) and Vintage Pink (CC) for a total of 1192 yds/1088m (with fringe).
Rec yarn:
Shawl + Fringe = 1192 yds/1088m divided in (MC) ~745 yds/680m + (CC) ~447 yds/408m
Shawl + Pockets = 1362 yds/1243m divided in (MC) ~851 yds/778m + (CC) ~511yds/467m
5mm US size H crochet hook, or hook needed to meet gauge.

67”/170cm long x 18”/45.7cm wide unblocked, without fringe
