Spreading braids
Sometimes it is good to have a long cardigan in which you feel comfortable as soon as you put it on. This design holds many details ready for you that will make that knit varied for you.
Spreading braids is a slightly oversized shawl collared cardigan, knit seamless from side to side. It is a clean design framed with cables and a lightweight structure of implied braids.
APPROX. YARN REQUIREMENTS:
Walcot Yarns - Opus (70 % Merino, 30 % Alpaca - 325 m / 100 g)
5, 6, 6, 6, 7 skeins
or a similar yarn (fingering or sport weight) that gives you the correct gauge and a drapey fabric. approx.:
1859 (1969, 2078, 2204, 2297) yds or 1700 (1800, 1900, 2015, 2100) metres
