SPRING FLOWERS is a huge shawl with lots of flowers. Knit like a typical Fair Isle shawl with a steek – but worked „top-down“ => you do not only increase at both sides, you also increase along the „spine“ in the middle of the shawl.

The shawl is knit in the round with a steek – that´s why there are hardly any purl stitches – once the shawl has the desired size you cut the steek and add a colourful border.
Don´t worry about knitting and cutting a steek – the pattern is very detailed and will guide you through it.

SPRING FLOWERS ist ein großes Blumentuch, das in Fair Isle Technik „top-down“ gestrickt wird und auf diese Weise die typische Machart dieser Tücher im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes auf den Kopf gestellt Die Zunahmen werden hier nicht nur an beiden Seiten sondern zusätzlich entlang der mittleren Bordüre gearbeitet.
Das Tuch wird in Runden mit einem Steek gestrickt, hinterher aufgeschnitten und rundherum mit einer Bordüre versehen. Diese Technik ermöglicht es, das Tuch nahezu komplett mit rechten Maschen zu stricken.
