Squish features Lion Brand Scarfie, a fab new yarn with a unique self-striping ombré effect - plus it’s a soft and lofty wool blend yarn with tons of yardage! Love it!
So while I was playing with a skein of Scarfie, I came up with a fun twist on the bullion stitch, where it’s split over two stitches… which I’m calling the Split Bullion Stitch. It’s actually a bit easier than a standard bullion stitch, plus it makes this amazing super textured and squishy fabric! It does take a little practice, but it’s worth it. Detailed directions are included, and a video tutorial was added 9/9/15.
