The Star Power shawl is simple to knit, but looks spectacularly intricate.

This pattern can be made with any two contrasting colors of Super Bulky Weight Yarn.

The sample pictured was made in Plymouth Encore Mega colors 0137 (Hot Pink) and 6007 (Silver).

This cowl is knit flat and then seamed using mattress stitch or similar seaming stitch.

Do your best to not knit the stitches too tight; that will make it easier to make your Star Stitches.
