Starbuck
Starbuck features a low, rounded neckline, saddle shoulders and very slightly puffed sleeves. It is designed to fit with zero to slight positive ease, though it would look great with negative ease as well.
This garment is worked seamlessly from the top-down using the contiguous sleeve method developed by Susie Myers, SusieM on Ravelry (http://www.ravelry.com/people/SusieM).
I used a fingering and a DK weight yarn, but it would work fine in 2 fingering yarns or 2 DK weight yarns as well. Sample shown is a size 37” on a 37” bust.
The sweater was inspired by Starbuck, one of the female lead characters in the TV show Battlestar Galactica. I watched the show while working on the sample for this sweater. If you like SciFi and haven’t watched BSG yet, go watch it! :)
