Ruth Sørensen – The Designer Behind the Pattern
This pattern has been specifically designed this year for Önling’s Advent Calendar by talented designer Ruth
Sørensen.

Ruth is the ’indoor World Champion’ of creating beautiful designs in Fair Isle patterns.

We are extremely honored by having Ruth create 2 entirely new designs for Önling this year in our wonderful No 20, which is originally from Shetland and made for knitting patterns and – not least – Fair Isle.

This scarf is worked in traditional Fair Isle knitting with varying pattern bands all through the scarf. 8 different colors have been used, and the scarf is knitted in the round, which means that it is doubled and thus extra warm.

Finished measurements:
Approx. 170 cm x 30 cm / 67 x 12 inches

Gauge in stitch pattern on needle size 3 mm / 27 stitches x 30 rounds = 10 x 10 cm / 4x4 inches

Use a 60 cm / 24-inch circular needle.
