This pattern grew out of a love for my best friends and the want and need of everyone to be accepted for who they are. After the Supreme Courts decision to legalize marriage by any two people, I completed the scarf and pattern for sale.

Scarf is a mosaic pattern. Every row is knitted (garter stitch). No purling! Mosaic also uses only one color on each row, pattern is created by slipping stitches from previous row.

Choosing a yarn with long color changes creates a beautiful dramatic effect on the scarf. Several yarns are suggested above.
