This hat is a very special design, made originally for my very fashion forward sister Karen. Stordimento means stunning in Italian, and that is exactly what Karen is.  The felting used to complete the project makes the pattern very forgiving. The folded brim can be shaped any way you like, and the size can be adjusted through felting. While the hat is very stylish, the felted wool is very warm, and the cap covers the ears.
