A junior version of my popular adult “Stornoway” design.
A variation of fisherman’s rib forms the main body of the design, with easy raglan sleeves. Contrast colours gives a modern twist.
This children’s version is worked in a lighter weight aran yarn.

TENSION
18 sts and 27 rows to 10 cm, (4 in) over patt using 5 mm needles, allowing for pattern to be stretched a little widthways.
18 sts and 25 rows to 10 cm, (4 in) over stocking stitch using 5 mm needles.
