To me, this blanket evokes feelings of joy, comfort and warmth. The square stitch pattern is one I always return to – it’s simple to knit, beautifully effective and has a gentle rhythm that makes the stitches feel like they’re flowing in and out of each other.

It’s one of my favourites – a delight to knit, and full of love in every stitch.

Originally designed in aran yarn for a full sized blanket the pattern now also includes a dk version for a cot size blanket.
