Stripes of Many Colors
Twenty-four little skeins in an Advent calendar…thirty mini skeins from a retreat exchange…dozens of little balls of fingering weight from socks of years past…samples every month from your favorite yarn tasting subscription-- wherever your collection of small balls or skeins of yarn are from, this cowl is the perfect solution for using them up!
Pair your mini skeins with a contrasting accent color and start knitting this colorful, close fitting cowl. The easy to memorize stripe pattern uses mostly knit stitches and a single row of a textured pattern to keep things interesting. Worked in the round as a tube on circular needles and joined end to end, the pattern includes notes for changing the overall length or width of the cowl to fit your style.
Skills Needed
Provisional cast on, knit, multi-stitch increases and decreases, Kitchener stitch.
