This shawl is completely customizable, make a small shoulder shawl or a large swingy shawl. You can use any weight yarn from lace to aran. A small shoulder shawl in aran weight will take about 350 yards and a large lace weight shawl will take about 700 yards. Use a yarn that blocks well.

This pattern is designed for maximum impact with minimum effort. The gauge swatch is the beginning of the shawl, if you like how your gauge looks continue working the shawl. If you don’t like it you can change needle sizes. The lace is an easily memorized pattern that will allow you to relax and watch a movie. The leaf trim is then knitted on sideways. Both the body and the leaf border are charted. (body chart has not been tested, let me know if you find any errors, I will correct them immediately)
