The Summer Skies Baby Blanket is an easy project done in worsted weight yarn with a size J crochet hook. The stitches used are chain, single crochet, double crochet, front post double crochet, front post treble crochet and slip stitch. Front post stitches are used to create the textured, woven look. The stitch pattern repeats for most of the rows and the simple border finishes it beautifully. The pictured blanket was made with Caron Simply Soft yarn in Cobalt Blue, Chartreuse and Robin Egg.

Measurements of finished blanket: 28” wide x 34” long.
