Sunkissed Top
The Sunkissed top is knitted seamlessly top down. The top is started at the top of the back lace panel. The straps are then picked from the top of the lace panel and worked separately, until joining them together at the front neck. The front and back are knitted separately down to the armholes. Then the pieces are joined and the body is knitted in the round. The lace pattern on the back is inspired by Hitomi Shida’s Japanese lace patterns.
I would recommend a cotton, silk, viscose, or linen blend for the best drape.
Note about the sizes: The top is best worn with a slight negative to zero ease, so that the finished bust circumference matches your bust circumference, or if you are between sizes, then size down. However, if you want to have a more relaxed top to be worn over another top, a bralette or a sports bra for example for yoga, then choose a bit more of positive ease.
