This top-down semi-circular shawl is a relaxing beginner friendly pattern. Choose one 100g skein of fingering weight wool for the main color. This main color is featured for the easy garter stitch rows. Three contrast colors of Qing Fibre Melted Baby Suri decorate the fabric with fluffy eyelet stripes. These three soft contrast colors also complete the wavy border as the alpaca fibers shimmy toward the final I-cord bind off. The resulting shape is easy to wear and the size is not too big and not too small, perfect for adding a burst of color to your wardrobe.

Finished Measurements
66″ / 168cm wingspan length, 22″ / 56cm from CO to BO edge measured along the center of the shawl. Measurements taken after blocking.

Yarn
Fingering weight

The contrast color Suri alpaca yarn is closer to a sport weight yarn, but it works nicely with the fingering weight main color. You could also hold two strands of lace weight mohair together for the 3 CCs.
