Swiss Meringue Slippers
Cold nights call for something cute to keep your toes warm. How about a pair of cozy and colorful slippers? The Swiss Meringue Slippers are inspired by colorful icing atop tasty holiday treats. A slip-stitch texture pattern is worked on the foot, and cables dance up the cuffs along with classic horizontal stripes. Buttons decorate the outside of each boot, like gumdrops on a gingerbread house, adding a personal touch to the final project!

PATTERN NOTES
These slipper boots are worked flat, beginning with the foot, which is worked from the toe up. Once the foot is created, seams are worked to form the shape of the foot. The cuffs are worked separately, then sewn to the foot using mattress stitch. Buttons are added on after seaming as the final step.
