Synchestra Pullover
The Synchestra pullover mimics a vintage style set-in sleeve sweater, but is all worked simultaneously in the round, with minimal assembly at the end.
This is the much simplified pullover version of the Synchestra cardigan: with no steeks nor short-rows, featuring a simple boat neck, and a seamless bottom-up construction.
I hope you will enjoy this pattern, and if you need any help, please do not hesitate to contact me in my Ravelry group ‘Skeindeer Knits’. It’s the best place for swift support. Happy knitting!
Yarn
Stranded Dyeworks Merino DK (100% superwash merino, 230 m / 252 yds, 100 g)
You will get the best result with any plied DK weight superwash merino yarn, but I have also had luck with sport-weight non-superwash sheep’s wool yarn. This pattern is rather versatile when it comes to yarn substitution, as long as you get gauge.

Needles
Two sets of circular gauge-size needles for body and sleeves, and 1/2 mm below gauge-size needles for the neckline.
The sample was made using 4.5 mm (US 7) and 4 mm (US 6), though I suspect most will use 4 mm (US 6) and 3.5 mm (US 4).
Gauge
20 sts x 30 rnds = 10 cm / 4” in stockinette stitch.

Construction
This pullover has a classic set-in-sleeve fit, although it’s worked seamlessly* in the round. Once you have worked each sleeve and the body bottom-up, you work them concurrently in the round. The decreases are placed so you get a set-in-sleeve silhouette.
There are two small seams for the very top of the shoulders, and some optional seaming for the boat-neck to get the preferred neck opening width.
